Everything goes silent...

Now I was annoyed. Not just a little either. I HAD to pick the one seat in between Braxyd and Maxsodin. Who were at the moment, screaming their brains out at each other. And Xahssa, was not doing anything. No, she was just sitting eating her toast. Occasionally getting up to check our dinner for the night.
And I was trying to read. I was in the middle of a very entertaining book, The Norton Anthology of English Literature. I had found it in my room. It must have been left over from the Number VI of Organization XIII.
"Could you guys...maybe....kinda...be a little quieter?" It went silent. Finally. And then the noise started again. It was even louder than before. That had been the third time I had tried talking to the two of them. They just weren't getting the point.
So I did what I always do. Try to ignore them. I turned back to my book and forgot about them, for a couple of minutes. Until it got to the point where they were throwing curse words at each other. Xahssa had an amused look on her face.
"WILL YOU TWO JUST SHUT YOUR FACES!!!!!!!" Silence. That was nice. I must have sat there several minutes before noticing something.
Max and Braxyd were not making noise. They were still yelling at each other, or mouthing might be a more accurate word, but no sound was coming out. Even II looked surprised.
Max seemed to be more observant with the whole no sound.
"VI, I have a little question for you."
"Yes II?"
"WHAT THE H**L DID YOU DO TO THEM?!" This wasn't good.
"What do you mean me. I don't or didn't have a power. Guess we know what it is now..." Braxyd seemed to be mouthing something probably obscene at me and waving his arms quite comically.
"Well, could you FIX IT?!?"
"Probably, if I knew how I did it in the first place." Hey, give me a break, I just found my power. It made sense. Casey really liked music. She would always walk around singing or humming something.
"Well this is good. Try reversing it. Kind of like the portals."
" 'kay, whatever you say II." And I concentrated. And I reversed it. Unfourtunatly, I switched their voices.
But we fixed it. Eventually......
But the point. NO ONE inturrupts my reading now.

In which I move up and Become Superior to One

I was in my usual spot. Up on one of the ladders in the library. Putting books back. Of course. Looking down I dropped one to the floor, Max might like it later. And then something happended that scared me almost off my ladder. The doors to the library burst open and a rush of wind went through the large library almost creating an echo. It couldn't have been Max, she finally started knocking when she wanted to come in. With Braxyd the air would have been warm and Xahssa wouldn't be caught near me. Nexan was on a mission, so that left one person. The Newbie. VII.  I hadn't had a chance to talk to her yet but she seemed...interesting. As she strode through the library calling," VI,VI where are you?'
  "Here." I said dropping down from my ladder. She looked startled as I landed about a foot from her face.
  "Im Daxjorn."She had light blue hair. She reminded me of an anime character. A chibi one at that.
   "That's nice. Im Seycax." She looked me up and down
   "Well, I have to finish touring the castle. Then it's off to training. Bye!" Then she swayed out. The doors closing after her. I stood there a minute trying to figure out what had just happened. And then it hit me. I was not longer at the bottom of the totem pole.

In which i meet a strange member

     It was weird. And off. I had felt someone following me for at least ten minutes. But everytime I would turn around. Nada. It was like two days ago with the tour of CO. It didn't feel good either. I had always been a bit paranoid but this time I was sure someone or something was there. But being me I continued on my way to the library.
     By lunch I decided it was time for a break. I had managed to get all the book in the center of the library and was just starting to sort through them. As I made my way out of the library I threw open the giant doors and ...Knocked over another member???? 
     What was she doing there? If she wanted in she could have just opened the door or knocked. "Are you okay?" I asked, this was one of the members I obviously hadn't met. And she didn't seem to happy.
     "Yeah. Hi Im Maxsodin. Number III!" She just went from sad to happy to-glaring at the library doors?
     "Why are you doing that?"
     "Becuase they won't let me in. I just wanted to meet our new member." This girl couldn't figure out how to work the library doors? And she was number III?
     "You could have knocked."
     "I might have bothered you." She may be odd, but she's sweet. Maybe a friend? It would be a first in this godforsaken-I mean castle.
     "Well that's very sweet of yo-"
      "Do you want to get Ice Cream? We have some in the kitchen. And then could you maybe, kinda, sorta, help me find a book to read? I haven't read one in a while." Me and her were deffinatly going to get along.
     "Sure."
     "Really?"
    "Yeah I don't see any problem with that."
    "YAY! Come on! I hope Braxyd hasn't eaten the last of it."
    "Whose Braxyd?"
    "Number IV. He's a meanie. Come on!" And with that she took off in the direction of the kitchen. Maybe my time in prison wasnt going to be so bad.

First Immpressions

When I came to I was in a bright white room. It was very plain, just a bend, nightstand, and dresser. I had to squint to see. The scene outside was dark and I could hear the rain lightly hitting the window. Everything was kind of hazy. I remember thinking, was this heaven?

                And then everything came crashing back. My room, the figure. Glancing down at my body I had to choke back a scream. An organization coat was draped on my body. An organization coat was draped on my body. My hands immediately ran to my chest. As I held it there I realized I was missing something. A heartbeat. My next thoughts were, I have to be dreaming. That’s the only explanation. I can’t be one of those monsters. Besides, weren’t they all dead?

                Then, I heard voices outside the wall? Okay, then, no door.

                “But Superior, you sure? I mean, you know how Max is starting to get.”

                “Yes, we need more members and if she was in Radiant Garden’s Castle she must be one of the restoration committee. That’s bound to come in handy some time.”

                “Of course. Forgive me. So she’s to be number five?”

                “No number six. Five has already been decided we just need to move in and actually have her join.”

                “Do you think she’s awake yet?”

                “Probably, would you mind going and getting her some toast?”

                “No” Silence. Then, there was a noise in the side of the room. Black. A portal. Something I hadn’t seen in nearly a decade. I jumped up.

                Evidentially to fast. I felt lightheaded. And then I went down. Luckily, I hadn’t strayed too far from the bed and landed on it. Groaning, I rolled over to face the figure that was cautiously approaching my bedside. I threw up my hands in defense. I may have only had a few lessons from Tifa, but I could fight if I had to.

                “Whoa, easy there. I’m not going to hurt you.” Said the Black robed person who I had just learned was either a girl or a very feminine guy.

                “Why should I believe you? You’re part of Organization XIII aren’t you?.” I’m glad I sounded so calm because I was freaking out inside.

                “Not exactly. I’m Nexan. Leader of Organization IV. We aim to gain hearts and then destroy Kingdom Hearts. We want to go back to the way we were before..well, this.” She said motioning to her body.

                “And why should I believe you? You’re a nobody.”

                “And so are you now.”

                “What do you mean. I’m just a girl from Radiant Garden.”

                “One of our members, well, she lost a little control. Instead of just fleeing, she may have taken your heart and turned you into one of us.” Nexan stated looking a little bored.

                “What makes you think ill join you. I don’t exactly think highly of anything even remotely linked to Organization XIII.”

                “Join or I will have to kill you myself, here and now.”

                “Then I guess I really don’t have much of a choice but to join you do i?”

                “No. Now, do you know how to fight?”

                “Yes. I have a bow and arrow.”

                “Good now we just need your power 6. But that will come later.”

                “6?”

                “Every member gets a number. It’s also their rank in our organization. You are number 6, Seycax. Right now, we don’t have anyone under you.”

                “Oh.”

                “Do you like to read? Because your first mission will be to organize the mass of books that used to be the library.”

                “I have no problems with that.”

                “You start tomorrow. Xahssa should be coming with toast any minute now, you must be hungry.”

                As if on que a knock on the wall. “Come in Xahssa” a girl with blue hair walked in carrying a plate with blackened toast.
                “Here you are Superior.” She turned to me and gave me what appeared to be a disappointing look. “You must be number VI. I am Xahssa, number II. My power my power is water.”

                “This is the third time I’ve heard powers mentioned. What exactly are they?”

                Nexan was the first to answer, “Well, when people are turned into Nobodies, they get a special power. Mine would be “space” and you already know Xahssa’s.” By this point I was cautiously picking at the toast. It didn’t really look good but, I was hungry. But the next thing Nexan said got my attention, “ In fact, you’re going to need a tour. Xahssa would you be so nice as to give her one?”

                “But Superior. I have a mission.”

                “Give it to Braxyd.”

                “But….yes Superior.” Now I was really getting the feeling that number II didn’t like me. “Are you coming or not?” she stated. Yup. I achieved a new record. Someone hating me within ten minutes. My previous record was two days and a lot more effort.

                “Yeah, just one question….How do I get out of this room?”

                She gave me a look like I was an idiot from another planet. Oh wait, I was. “You teleport.”

                “That would be great if I knew how to teleport.” If she was going to give me attitude, I was going to give her some.

                “TRY using the little bit of Darkness you can manipulate.” She was definantly someone who I didn’t want as an enemy.

                As I tried I felt a tugging at where my heart-I mean, where my heart used to be. And then a portal opened. Xahssa stepped into it without a backward glance. I however, was more cautious. I a stepped through, I was shrouded through darkness. And then I was back in a large white room with a giant bay window. Through it you could see the infamous Kingdom Hearts.

                “Are you ready to start or what?”

                “Yeah, lets go.” Looks like I found my new home. I couldn’t exactly go back to Radiant Garden now. What was weird was the whole tour I felt eyes following me, but as I turned, no one would be there. I figured it was the other members but it still gave me the heebie-jeebies.
